Over time, Dr. Dhaliwal began to notice a concerning pattern: patients with chronic illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension, and autoimmune conditions often returned with worsening health and increasingly long lists of medications, but without lasting relief. Many struggled with side effects or found it difficult to stay compliant because their treatments left them feeling worse rather than better. Unfortunately, the conventional system rarely allows time to dig deeper. Physicians are pressured to see more patients in less time, often forced to prescribe treatments without truly uncovering the root causes.

Recognizing this gap, Dr. Dhaliwal pursued a fellowship in Integrative Health and Medicine to offer patients a new, more comprehensive path forward. She realized that conventional medical education often lacks in-depth training in nutrition, gut health, detoxification, and lifestyle medicine, essential pillars for sustainable healing.

Dr. Dhaliwal’s goal is simple yet profound: to help patients feel better, not just manage disease. Her approach focuses on uncovering the root causes of illness to improve lives, reduce flare-ups, minimize medication burdens when possible, and restore quality of life through sustainable, whole-person care. These principles inspired her to establish RootCare MD, a practice dedicated to performing in-depth root cause analysis and providing truly integrative, personalized care.

At her clinic, Dr. Dhaliwal and her team believe healing begins with time, listening, and a patient-centered approach.
